Who do they want to manage this crisis?  Bush and company want to give total control to Hank Paulson and Ben Bernanke without oversight.  They want to entrust an unelected financial elite with the assignment of getting us out of a disaster into which and unelected financial elite got us into in the first place with us as just spectators.

We used to be the richest, most powerful, most self-sufficient republic in world history, with the highest standard of living any nation had ever achieved.  What is the solution to this crisis?  Don’t lend money to people who can’t pay it back and who want government welfare to bail them out.  Don’t save businesses that don’t follow sound fiscal principles.  Invent it here, make it here, buy it here, and live within your means.

The rich, the middle class, and the poor are going to have to bite the bullet and realize that the free lunch is over and the bill has come due.

Peace and Liberty through intelligence, strength and integrity.
