Meanwhile, around the planet, the forces of synergy and natural diversity have been at work for a much longer time and their progeny are bridging ethnic-cultural-religious-racial gaps in new and more effective ways than ever before. Obama's multi-racial genetics and his multi-cultural experience bring us at last, despite our traditional racist resistance, onto the contemporary world stage of inevitable change. Once we can truly mount this stage without niggling shame , once we stand in new and more surrendered equality with the rest of the human race, we may finally begin to recognize that in fact we are, 'All One Family.’ And 'What are you doing here?' will perhaps evolve into a more inviting invitation to openly embrace that change with an outstretched hand and a heartfelt, 'Welcome Home!'
