Jesus turned the other cheek.
Our churches curse flesh as the source of all evil;
Jesus came here in the flesh.
We judge those who live on the charity of others;
Jesus graciously accepted the charity of others.
We refuse mercy to those sentenced to death;
Jesus was sentenced to death.
We mock passionate street-corner preachers;
Jesus preached with passion in the streets.
We label as cultists those who ask others to give up everything worldly
and follow them;
Jesus asked his disciples to give up everything worldly and follow him.
We laugh at those who claim to perform miracles;
Jesus performed miracles.
We condemn critics of established churches as sinners;
