Tell A Friend

About those cars you're gonna build with this money, they are going to be plug-in hybrids for starters.
Sure you can still build conventional gas-powered cars, but with limitations.

First, unless it's a commercial vehicle, like a dump truck, no gasoline truck, van or SUV you build can have more than 6 cylinders,

And no passenger car can have more than 4-cylinders.

And, your profit on gasoline-only vehicles will be taxed at twice the rate of the profits you make on plug-in hybrids.

Take it, or leave it.

As for AIG, and it's ilk, I'd make it clear that their rescue packages will not arrive until all executive bonuses, stock options and other expensive perks are frozen or put in escrow pending the conclusion of both independent civil and criminal probes of all company operations over the past five years.  Oh, and I'd want those board of director seats as well.

I'm all for Dawinism, both the natural and economic varieties. But, just as one cannot be “a little bit pregnant,” they can't be a little bit Dawin.  Because if  human evolution had been given the kind of  no-questions-asked, no-consequences, genetic bailout back “in the day,” like the one being offered to America's foremosters, humans would still be trying to work out why square wheels don't roll so good.
