Some Other Players:
-The "News". ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and FOX are the leaders in dis-information and corporate/Republican lies. Still called the "liberal" press by the un-informed, misinformed and gullible, the "liberal" press is all but extinct. What used to be bastions of Truth for "We, The People" are now cesspools of Lies told for the benefit of the corporations and the greedy 1%.
-The people. Addicted to the old "one-eyed idiot box" the masses watch "reality" TV and learn their lessons well. Cheating, double dealing and lies are good. Getting ahead is what counts. Winning is all. Other shows portray the FBI and CIA in "hero" roles, violating the Civil Rights of all with impunity. Knowing very little about the activities of their own governments and the destruction of democracy, the masses are numbly admiring and desiring the lifestyles of the wealthy and enviously watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
-Republicans and Democrats in government are bought by the corporations. The corporations export American jobs, hurting workers. Workers watch TV and become brain-washed. With well-washed brains, they support corporate goals to destroy the benefits which were already paid for by the workers. "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer." We ain't got fun.
Does it matter which of the candidates win the upcoming election, Romney/Ryan or Obama/Biden?
Both would destroy what little is left of democracy and freedom and promote continual war, backing corporate exploitation.
The future will be much, much worse than I have described.
We will pay for our ignorance with our lives.
