(5) Accommodating the hateful right-wing zealotry machine, despite their virulent, malicious attacks on him and on liberal politics, thereby strengthening the racist, xenophobic propaganda of the Teabaggers, the Birthers and assorted other screaming tools, in Congress and outside.

(6) Enabling the election of a complete mental lightweight and former nude model to replace Edward Kennedy in the Senate.

(7) The utter and complete fiasco of the Health Care Bill, beginning with the harshest cut of all- backtracking shamelessly on the Single Payer issue. In the latter, BO played the perfect bait-and-switch game, very successfully.

Sadly, BO is a clever Washington political player who is shrewd and polished, but not remotely the agent of change the world needs in this already badly tarnished 21st century. As a so-called Commander-in-Chief, he may expeditiously deploy troops to other sovereign nations with the impunity that the world has learned is America's divine right. He can order the destruction of more poor and desperate human beings via the abject barbarity of the drones (the scourge of which I shall write about elsewhere). I see him as no more than America's usual bullying leader steeped in the mantra of wars, power, and global imperialism. While I greatly applaud BO's many accomplishments, I am afraid he is by no means a man of peace. In fact, such an association greatly diminishes the very concept of peace and nonviolence.
