Maybe the mainstream media's willingness to report truth at this level could be argued as a case of 'better late than never', but the question must still be asked:
If Britain had a Labour government in power today, would it be so willing to report such damning information?
And if looking at the long years when the Labour government were in power, if that is anything to go by, then the answer is clearly a solid "no'.
But more importantly, these latest revelations must renew calls for Bush and Blair to stand trial for war crimes.
Since 2003, the UK has spent -9.24bn, and the US has spent $802bn, killing at least 122,089 civilians in Iraq -- according to official figures, but experts estimate the number of slaughtered individuals to be much higher.
The mainstream media must also shoulder some of the blame as they gave unquestioning support to these psychopathic war criminals, peddling their lies and disinformation into the homes -- and minds -- of millions, suppressing investigative journalists who dare report information that could alter the public perception of Operation "Freedom".
