The status quo is wrecking the USA. Europe is a foreshadow of what is going to happen here. Or worse. IMO, people need to accept real change. Not the fraud that both parties have been foisting on the American People for decades. Obama or the lamestream Republicans offer no solutions. They wish to continue the same system because it's been great for them. It's time for the American people to reject what is good for the elites and demand what is good for US.
IMO the left and the right, or at least those that make those claims, are more often in alliance against the interests pf the people than not. Political sleight of hand is the modus operandi of those in power. What we are being told belies the facts.
The war on drugs continue along with a justice system that no longer gives credence to it's label. Those that lack the political and economic resources to game the system get the lions share of punishment. The left has hardly even tried to change this for the simple reason that their leaders are of by and for the elites. No change in foreign policy is even attempted, all while increasing scare resources are devoted useless wars on pretext of a massive threat. What threat? If a few thousand deranged fanatics huddled by fires in caves located in impoverished third world nation. Against the superpower that spends half the entire worlds expenditures on "defense"
So, what more do we have? Free market capitalism is blamed for a failing economy all the while both the leaders of the left and right collude to give their corporate masters advantages in bailouts, tax breaks, sweetheart deals and regulations targeted at their competition. The left, rolls over making excuses as bills like the Patriot act and the latest assault of "indefinite detention". Bills championed as reform come pre packaged with monopolies for powerful corporations, and other special interests jockey for a position at the government feeding troth.
