There’s no need to list the crimes of omission and commission of the Bush administration that have not fully played out yet, whose results have already proven to be the most injurious to the welfare of our nation that we have ever seen. According what is a crime and what the law is concerning a crime by the above definitions, the Bush administration is an ongoing criminal enterprise.

So, how did Mukasey condemn himself as a criminal? Black’s Law Dictionary defines a crime as “Any act done in violation of those duties which an individual owes to the community.” Being the Attorney General of the United States, the top law enforcement officer of the nation, Mukasey has the duty, the obligation and the responsibility to know what crime is and know how the law applies to it. By saying that a violation of the law is not a crime, he shows at the minimum ignorance of the law. At the maximum he is a lying scum-bag trying to protect his fellow Republican criminals. He is being paid to, it is his duty and he owes to the community knowing what the law is.

He is in violation of the law when he says that the discrimination was not a crime when the Civil Rights Act says that it is. It is his job to know that. It is not the duty of us ordinary folks to have to enlighten him on what the law is. He’s supposed to know that and by professing his ignorance of the law he is in violation of the law, which, contrary to what Mukasey says, is a crime.
