Accountability would allow the country to: bring justice to criminals, reaffirm the country's respect for the rule of law, start from a clean slate, and face the future with more confidence that the demons of the past won't re-emerge to hound us. Most importantly, accountability would reveal to the public the extent and depth of our leaders' criminality and mismanagement.

Perhaps the truth is too difficult to face for some people.

Don't you think America can benefit from some "looking back"?
