I wonder if the Republicans have ever gotten over the fear of going to the beach after the presentation of the fictional shark in Peter Benchley's "Jaws." They know for sure that the shark was a Democrat and was as evil and malevolent as Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

It's a sad state we've come to when a Republican judge holds in higher regard the fictional doings of a fictional character than the law and is the best thing there could be to represent the fictional Republican world view we see regularly presented in the MSM and with the re-writing of history to fit the Republican fantasy world they live in.

Ross Douthat writes a pointless column thinking that he has carefully dissected Dan Brown's novel without realizing that he is quibbling over things that can't be dissected.

Read the back side of the title page, Ross. You really shouldn't get all worked up about it and take it so seriously, showing us your ideological inability to distinguish between the book and reality. The reality is that it was only fiction.
