Religious immorality needs to be recognized and called for what it is; and the religious tenets that condone such immorality need to be rejected.  If the leaders of a faith fail to reject such tenets, then the entire faith tradition should be condemned as immoral and illegitimate.  Whether Gods exist or not, any religious faith that promotes immorality deserves to be opposed and discarded.
