We're all familiar with the music that Glenn Miller composed for Moonlight Serenade, but very few of us are aware of the beautiful lyrics Mitchell Parish composed for this piece. With all of the i mprovements in audio technology in the seventy-one years since this song was r ecorded on April 4, 1939, it still doesn't get much better than this.
Wait until the moon is full. Reach out to your loved one, dance softly and let the moon's gentle light set you dreaming. Listen and rejoice in this masterpiece of nocturnal romance:
