Clearly, Obama spoke from a base of good ideas during his campaign, but since his election, his words and actions have indicated a gross naiveté about the depth of crime and corruption in his American nation, an apparent naiveté as to who is a criminal and who is not.
Certainly Obama knows that if one is going to clean house, one first has to sweep out the debris and remove the crap. The result has been words and actions with little relationship to those initial good ideas, ideas which haven't been employed for decades and decades in America, which is why we no longer resemble anything that Jesus, Jefferson and Franklin had in mind.
Given that Obama is in possession of better ideas than he is currently employing, it would be great to hear his words flow in a manner consistent with those better ideas. This "knowing better" is what prompted me to suggest that he actually does know better and is employing the conservative approach just to prove that it doesn't work, once and for all. This would be the only interpretation that makes sense.
We can always hope, recognizing that such hope may not amount to much. Actually, it is rather doubtful that Obama is adequately disingenuous to come up with a plan based on continued right wing failure until it is possible to pursue centrist political policies. But, it could easily turn out that way anyway. We can always hope.
