*McCain never meeting a deregulation he didn’t have a wet dream over. *Sarah’s witch hunting, layin’ on of hands, witch exorcising Rev. Thomas Muthee -- it‘s on tape, folks -- vs. Rev. Jeremiah Wright who just shoots of his mouth…no hands involved. *McCain claim to “love” veterans and “supports” them 100 percent. Except when there’s a vote to financially support them, then he goes all negative on them. So much so, he has an 80 percent negative rating among vets’ groups across the country. *McCain can run but he can’t hide from his lockstep support of George Bush, voting with him 90- to 95-percent of the time.
*Patriotism. How patriotic or show of good judgment is it on McCain’s part to pick a running mate who’s husband was a member in good standing for six yeas of the Alaska Separatist Party? A party she welcomed with open arms, a smile and a friendly come-on wink, and was even one of their guest speakers.
*The Obama should be constantly talking about Palin’s attempt to displace the Wasilla, Alaska town librarian because she refused to agree to ban books until the townspeople rose up in the librarian’s defense. If that does raise red flags, I don’t know what does.
*How about Palin not knowing what the Constitution says about the vice president’s duties, and thinks it's "flexible" enough to give the veep even more power than Dick Cheney has taken! Heh? Heh? Heh?
*Palin’s claim to be a Washington outsider, and she and the ‘maverick’ McCain will bring about change. They stole the “change” theme directly from Obama. Her hurling those unmentionable words: Washington insider at Joe Biden are beyond laughable.
Both Biden and McCain have been in the Senate for a long time. Biden for 36 years; McCain for 26 years. Just because Biden’s been there 10 years longer, doesn’t make McCain any less of an insider, and an insider who’s never been on the side of “the folks.”
*They talk a good game about less government ... except in your bedroom, doctor’s office and wedding chapel. Migawd! Think about the Supremes they'll choose.
*McCain wants us to invest our Social Security money in the same kind of deregulated system that just broke the country. Talk about the insanity of not looking back and not learning from mistakes.
*The Iraq war was a mistake, a blood bath for Americans and Iraqis and a money pit, but McCain want us to stay there for ever, while saying he’ll bomb, bomb, bomb every country whose leaders don't want to do it our way.
*Although McCain has railed against dirty campaigning, it's McCain's forte, and McCain-the-Coward does it hiding behind the skirts of two women.
McCain is not only traveling a bridge to nowhere, but on a bridge too far. So far it’s reached a wide open fertile orchard that is so full of over-ripe fruit on rotten apple trees to bury the McCain/Palin ticket in rotten apple slime a mile deep.
When you don’t have positive plans to run on, you run by throwing all the rotten fruit you have in your arsenal, because that’s all you have left.
None of these attacks can stand up against “it’s the economy, stupid” or “it’s the lies, stupid.” The economy is in the tank and people want it fixed; we want hope, not fear, and we don’t want more of the same old dirty trick tactics.
