Sarah Palin in engaging in tinderbox-politics is a danger to our national security

When it comes to national security, it has been said that Americans can trust McCain when it comes to this one issue.  This is precisely where we can call into question whether or not he is the one who can be trusted as his running mate shoots off her mouth.

Can a deluded individual or individuals compromise our national security from within our own borders?  Can an outside terrorist cell strike when the iron is hot as Palin plays with this tinderbox-politics?  That is one of my greatest fears.  They can use this not only to their advantage but McCain’s as well.  He can directly point to such an attack and say to the American people, “Trust me to keep you safe” and an ignorant electorate just may do so.  This may be the very October surprise some have feared but with one distinction, this one can have deadly consequences.

I do believe this is where we Americans must have conversations with others pointing out just how dangerous Sarah Palin is to our national security.  We are living in dangerous times and with the economy in shambles: Who knows what her prose can do?  I do believe we are seeing for the first time the real Sarah Palin.  When Americans are thirsting for leaders who can unite us, she is doing everything to divide us.  In her recent rallies, she has not given Americans one reason why we should trust the McCain/Palin ticket.  She has given Americans a number of reasons why to fear her.
