If we are to restore spirituality to American politics, we must start by reclaiming our sacred heritage. We need consensus about (remove: the importance of) truth, justice, kindness in order to make (remove: the) changes that must be made if we are to survive and prosper. We need a mass infusion of spirit, to mobilize the people and do what's needed.
