However, do not be misled, as a child these women also seek their father as first love and was rejected. But instead of becoming the "good girl" or "obedience" mother to gain father's love. Instead these individuals take on the persona of father, aggressive, demanding, authoritative, seek power as a tool to control. Psychologically these women become their father.

Powerful women unlike powerful men are seldom involved in highly publicized social or political embarrassment. Powerful women are rarely engage in extramarital affairs with younger men. In fact, this seems to mirror society in which older women are less motivated toward the seduction younger men.

The message here is that when powerful men, or women, engage in extramarital affairs the reason may not be as simple as suggested by the mass media.

This article should not be seen as a broad brush painting all intimate relationship between older powerful men and younger as, in itself, neurotic.  This article suggest other ways to examine relationship between man and women othe than through the lens of sex and power.
