The second time the police came in to harass protesters, was to take someone's personal property that was setting in another alcove, again claiming it as abandoned despite the presence of an unidentified person claiming ownership of the property.

Police threw out several blankets, dog food, books, clothes and other
material without regard to the owner's safety, even threatening the owner with
arrest if she didn't move off of the matting they were attempting to throw
away.
Again police were challenged with citing the law that gave them the authority to take this persons property and throw it in the sanitation truck at the curb, again they were unable to answer the question.

Relief only came for protesters when
the Captain finally left the scene for the day.
The harassment of the Trinity Protesters has steadily increased over the
past 109 days they've been protesting in front of Trinity Church, several
protesters have been hurt and others have been arrested often without
provocation.
Police seem to taking direction from Trinity Church's head of security who often is seen speaking to police officials just before many of the illegal seizures, or other acts of hostility by NYPD, and has even given orders to protesters as if he were in fact a police officer himself.
A rally will be held on Thursday September 27, 2012 against Stop and Frisk policies, other oppressive and illegal activities conducted by NYPD on the broad Street side of city hall at 10:30 am.
