Police threw out several blankets, dog food, books, clothes and other material without regard to the owner's safety, even threatening the owner with arrest if she didn't move off of the matting they were attempting to throw away.

Again police were challenged with citing the law that gave them the authority to take this persons property and throw it in the sanitation truck at the curb, again they were unable to answer the question.

A rally will be held on Thursday September 27, 2012 against Stop and Frisk policies, other oppressive and illegal activities conducted by NYPD on the broad Street side of city hall at 10:30 am.
