Obama stunk up the joint as a change agent, but he's got one more chance to make a difference. We're past hoping for change, what we need now is a bulwark. If our president has a spine, he needs to find it fast. Because Obama is about all that stands between us and the dark nightmare of the soul his enemies are espousing as their version of hope and change.
Obama has a new job, to play defense against the indefensible. I hope he's up to it. Because, if he screws this job up, we're screwed.
