I got a one-day job the other day in a focus group acting as a jury in a mock trial. It was the first new money that I'd come across in a while and I was running out of laundry detergent and dental floss and toilet paper. I bought some underwear and two pairs of shorts because my clothes were turning to faded rags. I bought a new shirt, too, but not to wear. I'll save it for a job interview that I hope to have some day.
