If you break a key in a lock, run a jigsaw blade alongside the key, then twist it so the teeth bite into the key. Keep in this position while (hopefully) pulling the key out.
Inkstains on skin - wet with water, then rub the sulfer end of a match over them.
Use glycerine for oiling kitchen utensils.

Instead of pulling out the debris in a vacuum bag you want to re-use with your hand, cut the bottom of the bag, empty it, then re-seal with duct-tape. Just be careful not to rip the bag elsewhere.
If a new key works, but with difficulty, file the newly cut edges with a nail file or emery board
