We know that for the group to evolve, each person must evolve. That's where the Leo full Moon comes in. The Leo goal is individuation – the process of becoming your own unique Self. But lots of drama, childlike playfulness and creativity are involved. All that Aquarian energy is taken in by the Leo Moon and is transmuted by the Earth. We are asked to grow up and take responsibility for our world, our people, and ourselves. It's about time!
The Sabian symbol for the Sun at 21 Aquarius is: A disappointed and disillusioned woman courageously faces a seemingly empty life. This speaks to our capacity to meet emotionally upsetting experiences in our relationships – and in life - with strength of character and personal integrity.
The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 21 Leo is:Intoxicated chickens dizzily flap their wings trying to fly. This is a symbol that speaks to sometimes ludicrous first experiences with spiritual teachings. In other words, don't imagine you have all the answers. You'll invariably try something stupid and fail. But if you do, don't disbelieve just because you got it wrong the first time. Spirituality is a process, and it takes the strength of character and integrity of the woman to undergo its tests before you can accept its gifts.
After the eclipse, Mars' Aquarian ideals will have run-ins with our Sumo wrestlers Saturn and Uranus on February 11-12, honing his intellect's sword for another day. That day is February 17th, when he meets up with Jupiter and gets the chance to show how he's changed his ways: instead of ideological conflicts, he's going to try for cooperation and generosity.
This is the image from the song, Age of Aquarius, from Hair was sent to me by a friend:
When the Moon is in the seventh house
and Jupiter aligns with Mars.
Then love will rule the planets
and peace will steer the stars
At dawn on 14th February the Cosmos actually embodies this perfect alignment to support our collective manifestation of love and peace and dawning of the Age of Aquarius.
In mid-February a rare astrological concentration brings together a number of planets together with the North Node (denoting higher purpose) in Aquarius that energizes and inspires the possibility for transcendental breakthroughs in some perhaps seemingly intransigent situations.
We measure our global sense of both space (latitude and longitude) and time (universal time - UT or GMT) from the prime meridian located at Greenwich, England. So, we can perceive the collective influence of this momentous astrological event by looking at the alignment from this globally ‘centered’ perspective. When we do, something extraordinary and exquisite emerges.
At dawn on 14th February the day dedicated to St Valentine, the patron saint of Love, the Moon in Libra enters the seventh house of relationships. And Jupiter and Mars are aligned in Aquarius in the twelfth house of spiritual transformation.
The next day, the Sun swims into Pisces. Let's make it happen.
The cosmic drummers are setting out the rhythms of life. Do you hear it? The rhythms are calling us to get our feet moving and dance!
