_So here’s the deal: I don’t want to hear any excuses; how it was all the other guy’s fault, and what have you. What I want you to do is take care of the problem you helped create. You see, I feel that even by not fixing it when you had the chance, to me is pretty much the same as creating it. Fix it . . . by November; this November. Don’t give me explanations or excuses or half-baked, canned promises . . . just fix it!  

_Or else. “Or else” what? Figuring that out and how to fix the terrible mess you helped create are the only two things I want you thinking about between now and then.
