This is how Israel is hurting the Jewish people. Its signature cocktail of arrogant rhetoric ('we speak for all Jews') and wartime atrocities is driving the anti-Semitism machine all over the world. Whereas Hamas can only target a handful of Jews with its puny, inefficient rockets, Israel can (and will) bring the world Jewry to its knees, with state of the art weaponry that may as well be directed at the very people it claims to represent and protect. Every Palestinian child Israel slaughters, every school it bombs, every house it demolishes for no discernible reason -- these endeavors backfire into the face of the innocent Jewish people.
I hence suggest to the Israeli leadership that they abandon Operation Protective Edge at once, for the following reason: clearly, to them the life of one Israeli -- one Jew, specifically -- is worth a hundred times more than the life of a Palestinian. Their wailing, screaming tantrum over the alleged kidnapping of Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin, while the Knesset bombs Gazan hospitals without batting an eye, demonstrates that plainly enough. So, Israel, if you won't end this massacre for the sake of the Palestinians, will you do it for the sake of the Jews?
