regional military power ally midst the oil rich countries of the Middle
East in perpetual violent confrontation with a massive dispossessed,
impoverished Palestinian population, which has known no relief from
colonial and neo-colonial manipulation.
With the apparent exasperation of a ninety year old, a well known, highly respected and experienced news hound lost her cool over the continuing instances oppression and homicide in the name of security for the Israeli state.
An exasperation shared by frustrated well informed fair minded peace wishers who have seen the military-industrial-financial complex owned commercial media successfully distort history and promote a woefully uneven conflict between two great peoples. One, the wealthier, scientifically advanced, U.S. superpower financed, state of the art weaponized occupier, the other, poor to the point of receiving international food aid, occupied and blockaded, its land ever diminishing, whose children have continued to fight with stones and slings, still unwilling to accept their present dismal fate as permanent.
Two precious semitic peoples, both belonging in Palestine, a Palestine that is home to both. Both playing out a role relegated to them by the same powerful blind materialist amoral banking interests that with few mostly temporary revolutionary exceptions have circumscribed life on Earth since the industrial revolution.
Difficult to believe that a
solution to the death, destruction and suffering will be found within
Palestine itself when conditions continue to appear to be controlled
from centers of power far removed from the Middle East.
