Well then… That would make the sour griping, grumpy paranoids who started yelling from “day one” correct after-all. It would mean that those who bitched with undisguised anger and smug, superior disdain about there being no differences at all between the corporate Parties, that claimed the “Red and Blue” mosaic was nothing more than a carefully-crafted camouflage pattern designed to fool us into shooting at each other instead of our real enemies… That “the grand game” of American politics was just another matinée show at the giant-screen, high-definition equivalent of the Roman Circus races… That essentially, it turned out those dirty-rotten, ungrateful whining, dangerous extremists back then actually had a legitimate right to complain in the first place.

This future history would go on to explain how the mainstream press and the “insider” internet bloggers of the times soon began to say over and over that the mean-spirited and negative-ninnies on the Dangerous Left who refused to the give the poor, defenseless administration a proper chance were the real problem: That this “Evil Left” (by some undetermined and unexplained method) stopped the “Hope” dead in it’s tracks by their continuous nay-saying and bitching. That the administration had so much important work to do, that it could not let itself be distracted by those would destroy everything for their own selfish wishes. These refrains were repeated countless times: If the fanatics would only get with the plan, all would be well! Damn them for being so grouchy and self-centered! We could all be saved if only for their premature nastiness.
