Is it any wonder that society is in such a deplorable shape these days? This is what we reward in America. Rush Limbaugh is a debunked liar, admitted hypocrite, and exposed hate monger. His agenda essentially is to fill the air waves with distortions and hate in the hope that something sticks in the minds of the listeners. The hope is that when the bits of hate and minutia stick, they will carry over to the voting booth. Thus he is an active agent in the undermining of the entire electoral process in this country. He is an enemy of democracy. It is not enough to simply line up the candidates and let their positions speak for themselves so that America can make informed decisions on Election Day. Instead the objective is to deceive and distort the truth so that people walk into the election booth armed with untruths designed to keep people in power. The truly insidious underlying scheme though cuts deeper than that. The true goal is to continue to divide this country against itself. It is to provide someone to hate. Someone to blame your problems or your lot in life on and Rush Limbaugh is the best at expanding the chasm in this country. He feeds the basest, darkest portions of who we are as people and 14 million people lap it up each week by tuning in to a man who sells only hate, hypocrisy and the erosion of our country and culture. Hate pays well in America and it really speaks ill for all of us and our future.
