Governor Janet Napolitano and Governor Sarah Palin

She believes that both Creationism and Evolution should be taught in school, believes that no abortion is necessary nor allowable, believes that we honor the family by prohibiting gays from forming them, and she believes that certain books, chosen by her, should be banned from our public libraries and that librarians who refuse to do this must lose their jobs.

Gov. Janet Napolitano believes that we should have a workable solution to tracking people crossing the borders in our state of Arizona and she compromises on the things that she must, to keep the state working at its best potential speed and cost.

She believes that gay people have the same rights as the rest of the nation’s citizens and she cut our state’s 1 billion dollar deficit upon her arrival into office down to a 1 billion dollar savings account, without raising taxes, and she did this not long after 9-11 and not long after she arrived.

Gov. Sarah Palin vetoes people for their politics and takes political opposition personally and retaliates, while Gov. Janet Napolitano vetoes politics, 127 times so far, not people and she sees nothing political as personal attack and eschews retaliatory actions.

Gov. Palin is building her record as governor this year while Gov. Napolitano has been named as one of Time Magazine's top 5 governors in the U.S. and she has been considered for a vice presidential slot. She has received presidential appointments, won the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service, has served as Chair of the Western Governor’s Association, and in the National Governor’s Association.

While Gov. Palin rides in McCain’s political machine now, Gov. Napolitano considers taking away his Senate seat no matter what the presidential outcome may prove to be.

McCain would be a more responsible, both a fiscally and a nationally responsible candidate to have chosen my governor, Janet Napolitano.

In a bragging session about governors, I know that more people would be on the Napolitano side than on the Palin side and I believe that they would prefer to have her as McCain’s running mate, if she just weren’t a gay Democrat.

But, we in Arizona like our lady and gentlemen governors no matter what they do at night and at home. And we know what Sarah does there, too, no? But, we can discuss and have opinions about the one and not the other, correct??

When we  give Obama and Biden the state of Arizona, I hope that they will give Janet Napolitano a cabinet post, as she is as eminently qualified and knowledgeable and experienced as anyone in their immediate circle.
