We might as well also deeply and seriously debate whether wearing socks on our feet while we sleep at night, or not, is the next best national alternative energy plan. The tradeoffs are complex I suppose. Republicans and Democrats, and independents, take sides now! It might take the next 18 months to decide. Pull out your fiddles! It's a long dance ahead! Rome didn't fall in a day!
On the other hand, what else should I expect from people who widely believed Iraq was responsible for 9/11? Or who widely believed that a nuclear-bombless, de-armied, long-embargoed, friendless, land-locked little country across the ocean, which happened to also have the world's 4th largest oil assets, was suddenly and imminently about to militarily destroy America in early 2003?
