These elite rich Republicans, many of whom filled the Xcel arena last night, are content to chant "USA! USA!" and get patriotic in order to win elections, but they will attack veterans and anybody else who stands in the way of absolute power. Is this how Republicans treat a man whose skin has been dirtied by the sands of Iraq? Their behavior ought to be an example to McCain supporters who whine about the media's treatment of Governor Sarah Palin. Is this how Republicans treat a veteran who served in Falujah? Scream at him? Does Adam Kokesh really need to be reminded whose side he's on? Did he not carry a gun into enemy fire with a patch of the American flag on his arm? Do they equate Adam Kokesh with the terrorists in Al Qaeda? The answer is yes, they do. John McCain and Sarah Palin ought to be held accountable for the behavior of this audience, as Republicans are trying to hold Obama and Biden accountable for the perceived Palin slights. Double standards, folks, are double standards. Shame on the Republicans. At every turn, the Republicans hold themselves to different standards than they are trying to legislate upon the rest of the country. Thank you for your service, Adam. You deserve better. You've earned it.
