So, the court once again head slapped Dr. Wood in its curt denial of the Motion to Reconsider by being as precise as it can be - click here .
But... does Judy take the hint at all? No. After all, she claims to be a Truther of sorts – although she's backpedaled from the inside job angle to the Truther theory in her Motion to Reconsider – and when Truthers have the "truth" on their side (cue patriotic music) al things are possible. Regardless, Dr. Wood elects to stay the course by also appealing the dismissal to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit - click here .
Now...no offense to Drs. Wood and Reynolds, but are these the reactions of open-minded and honest adults or are these the hissy-fits of children scorned? A frivolous law suit is frivolous whether it's filed by a PhD or an idiot, although the two could be one and the same sometimes.
My question is why do the two continue to pursue what has now been ruled as frivolous? Could it be that Dr. Wood is a disinfo agent of the government? She goes to great lengths to say she's not - click here . And yet, Dr. Wood also goes to great lengths to comfort us that she's "of sound mind" - click here . Hmmm... I wonder why she may have thought that others were questioning this point?
So, where does that leave us - the reviewers of her work? I think she (and Dr. Reynolds because they have paralleled their legal actions with one another not unlike "Dumb and Dumber") is being honest in her conviction. However, Dr. Wood is using her lawyer to spin that she's not (necessarily) a Truther (although what else can she be when she's accusing the military-industrial complex), and I think she believes herself smarter than those Truthers around her, given her advanced understanding of molecular disassociation and the Hutchinson Effect. In the end, though, she and Dr. Reynolds are only arrogant and have successfully perverted science into a tool of the political with respect to the attacks of 9/11.
"When men are most sure and arrogant they are commonly most mistaken, giving views to passion without that proper deliberation which alone can secure them from the grossest absurdities," – David Hume.
