Corporations appear to me to be the "backbone" of our government and our lives. Is that what we want? Is that what we want for our children and grandchildren? Is this freedom?
In fact, we live in a feudal system where we of the working class (labor) are actually peasants in service to the elite powerful.
The working classes did fight for rights and decent pay and benefits during the days of striking to make the corporations accountable. But, real change didn't happen. Indeed, the beginning of the end was Ronald Reagan's reign as President. (Of course, long before Reagan, throughout recorded "history" which is the mastermen's story--his story, not ours--has been foisted on us.)
Another pivotal action was "outsourcing" where corporations used "cheap labor" to make profits. Cheap labor is one with slave labor. It is interesting that labor speaks to the process of birth. Labor means to us as "women giving birth" and "working people fostering products under a supervisor's eyes." It brings all working people, women and men alike, down to the level that patriarchy sees as appropriate for women and slaves.
So, what kind of world could we conceive on our own?
For a moment, think about the meaning of the term, supervisor. Our "Superman" is actually our "Super-Visor". He is the overseer of everything.
Doesn't this make the elite "God" or "Nature"?
And what are we reaping in this? Global Warming? Constant Warfare? Presidents (e.g., Trump, Bush, Obama (Republican Light) are great examples of our existential conditioning.
What are we getting now in spades with Trump? (At least in bridge one quarter, not 1% of the deck can trump the rest!).
