I can sense the sea change locally. For years people thought my calls for investigation and prosecution of the Bush gang were unrealistic. Later, my criticisms of Obama's centrism were regarded with distaste, as if I was parroting conservative Obama-bashers. But since the election losses, more Democrats are responding politely to my emails and commenting on my facebook posts.
The Democratic Party needs progressives.
Will progressives realize that they need the Democratic Party?
