Even the private security forces seemed confused as to what all the fuss was about, but that may change today. A woman working for Allied Barton Security asked to see some of the photos I had taken. She was just curious why 12,000 had been put on the payroll for the G-20 event. They mainly guard parking garages, and low profile private buildings. She was tired and bored.

Noisy protest for cameras..Cops did nothing

The only place I was searched, and I mean thoroughly searched, was at the gala hosted by Teresa Heinz and John Kerry at the Andy Warhol Museum. I expected to be, even though it was a formal function just short of black tie. You come to expect these things.

There was a quote by Andy Warhol that I am so happy I jotted down. "I can't see how I was ever underground, since I have always wanted people to notice me."

For me, and my peculiar point of view, it really sums up my take on the anarchist, so far. Yeah, that is a hedge.

P.S. Thanks to the nice camera crew from CBS who helped me when I was truly lost under a bridge somewhere.
