We not only have a government that is dysfunctional but also a society that increasingly fits that description. What we're seeing is a clear sign that America simply cannot function as a strong, stable nation with a vibrant, growing economy under these conditions. This is a situation that is unsustainable but while the grave danger it poses is becoming more evident with each passing day, our pathetic leaders and politicians in Washington simply look the other way.  

If this failure to address this massive problem continues then it's only a matter of time before we witness some form of a societal upheaval that could shake this nation to its core; one in which millions of Americans who have had more than they can take and will take no more.

Yes, something is terribly wrong in America; something that once made this an exemplary nation is now missing.
