HCAN (Health Care For America Now) is also having a rally on the same day in Washington for a Public Option. I am asking everyone to please consider going to Washington and join either march, I don't care which one, we need a strong show of force right now to get anything out of Congress!!!

I care deeply about the American people and I can see in the future that we will get our Single Payer Health System but we must take smart steps in that direction right now!

     Sincerely in Solidarity,
     Dr. Lora Chamberlain

Dear HCAI Members and Friends,

When President Obama launched the current health reform debate, he said single-payer was "off the table."

Last month, doctors, nurses and paitents put single-payer on the table in the Senate and House when they were dragged from the Senate Finance Committee for demanding single-payer for their patients.

The lesson is clear: The way to keep single-payer on the table is to keep up popular pressure.

Help us put the pressure on Obama by joining us for a demonstration at his Chicago appearance before the American Medical Association
