A "Friend Of The Family"
The story from Palin's side, however, seems cobbled together by an unknown "source", supposedly a friend close to the Palins who was not at the party but who was asked by the Palins to set things straight: in it, it was started by Connor Cleary, Willow's ex-boyfriend who tried to get into the Hummer after "questionable behavior". It also belies the "great right hook" story since it points out that Bristol is left-handed.
According to the source, Track Palin left the fight nursing four cracked ribs [from being pounced on by four men], while his father was bloodied up.
The "You know who I am?" comment was changed to "Do you know who he is? He's a vet!" Referring to Track Palin's Iraq war record. It's OK to insert a WTF? at this point.
And if Track Palin left with cracked ribs, wouldn't there be a medical report? Surely, you have to be taken to the hospital for that. Also: Bristol's temper was documented in another "brawl" back in 2012.
BTW: Tripp Palin was sleeping in the stretch Hummer all the while. Nice parenting.
So far, the Palins haven't come out with any
direct statement. But let's face it, a "statement" from an anonymous
"friend" is a stupid move, even for Sarah Palin. No statement at all
would have been far more dignified. Then again, that would be as if the Palin
household had to hold a week-long meeting to discuss how to get the story
straight.
Some splainin: which of the eyewitnesses lied? Why did Eric Thompson get fired?
If Track was seriously injured, where are the medical reports? Some walls in
Wasilla must be itching to talk... to the National Inquirer at least.

I object that you are such a bourgeois."
