I saw more huge, projected images of penile anomaly than anyone has a right to see in a lifetime, let alone in one evening. The graphic images of monstrous needles and other sharp objects attacking acutely sensitive areas - all enlarged to the size of a barn - were deeply traumatizing.

Then, the two doctors giving the presentation admitted that the third doctor on the panel was unable to be there, as he had been called away on a sudden emergency with a patient (leaving me, and I suppose most of the rest of the audience, wondering exactly what might have gone horribly wrong.)

The $64,000 Question

Then they invited questions.

The room was silent, and finally, one man raised his hand. And after hearing all the traumatic details about the surgical procedure the doctors were encouraging, the only question was - I am NOT kidding - whether the surgery would increase the size of the goods!

That evening, I learned more than I thought I ever wanted to know about this subject - however, in light of the recent attacks on womankind, it has finally come in handy.

The Famous Mr. "ED" (and the Talking Whores, of Course!)

Penile implant surgery is exclusively for the purpose of enhancing sexual activity, which is exactly what Rush Limbaugh would like you to believe about birth control pills.

The surgical procedure, of course, is not restricted to married men, so one must assume that these bachelors are either sleeping with single "sluts" or with other men's wives.

According to CostHelper, "Penile implant surgery costs between $10,000 and $30,000, depending on the doctor and type of implant used," and, "a Medicare recipient's copay would be a little over $800."

You read that right!

Medicare pays many thousands of dollars PER MALE PATIENT to enhance their sexual experience! (And guess what? These implants get replaced after 8-10 years, at additional cost!)

Everydayhealth.com says "Each year, about 20,000 American men opt for a penis implant, according to the Cleveland Clinic."

If only half those men are on Medicare, and the surgery cost averages out to be somewhere in the middle, say, $20,000, then if my math is right - that adds up to - a LOT of money!
