Every person who, with the intent that the crime be committed, solicits another to commit or join in the commission of murder shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for three, six, or nine years. -California Penal Code section 653f MUCH MORE This was the comment I posted, and I believe it’s germane and most importantly, places the issue in a perspective where we can all understand how “justice” under the Bush administration is selectively doled-out, contrary to our beliefs that true justice and the rule of law should apply equally to anyone, no matter where you work or who you are: This was a comment I originally tried to post when the story first hit Op-Ed News, but every time I tried to post it, I received a database error. It seems that their hackers, or someone, didn’t want comments posted to that thread was working overtime; Anyway, I saved it, hoping that the opportunity would again arise to express my opinion on this matter. I was answering someone who had never posted on Op-Ed News before and had all of the traits of a Troll or GOP Propagandist: "Excuse me, but “the troops” that you seem to be so interested in have been barred from any political activity - and I wasn’t aware that when you joined the military, that you had to give-up your right to freedom of speech. So, since they aren’t able to speak-out, for the first time in ages, “the troops” are supporting Democrats through their political donations rather than Bush and Cheney’s unconstitutional government. I support our troops, and I’m an avid supporter of the United States Constitution, and that also means the rule of law and our individual civil liberties.
"I am against any talk of revolution and armed conflict within the United States, as it would lead to anarchy and play into the hands of the Bush administration, giving them an excuse to declare martial law. But, if I was to speak-out and voice an opinion that any group of people should be murdered and offer to buy the bullets, you can bet that I’d be arrested soon after uttering the words, and in all honesty, that’s exactly what I would deserve! Seeking to incite people to violence and murder is a God###n crime, and attempting to cover it up as satire or other such weak attempts to justify such a statement is an insult to anyone with half a brain, and I’m simply sick of propagandists that attempt to justify people that incite violence.
"If someone threatens the President of the United States, they are promptly hauled-off to jail. If people threaten other people, and it’s witnessed, local authorities can arrest and charge that person for attempting to incite violence. Period! It’s our law, and this selective prosecution of our own laws has to stop! We’re either a nation of laws or we’re a fascist dictatorship - and unfortunately, the latter seems to be the case! What happened to the Congress voting the will of the American people? Why is it OK for people to suggest crimes and still be able to walk the streets, when if anyone in the Liberal/Progressive media did the same we would be in jail???
"As for some people stating that the President should hang, those that have said it have also suggested that he be sent to The Hague to be tried for War Crimes, in a trial by the international community. I’m personally against the death penalty, but I am in favor of the President having to adhere to our constitution and the rule of law. In this care, to quote George W. Bush himself, you’re either “with us, or you’re against us”, and by that statement, I mean adhering to our constitutional principles and the rule of law. Based on your post, it seems apparent to me that you’re against our belief in the constitution and the rule of law.
"If I commit a robbery, can I go to court and apologize for it, or will I be going to prison??? If I publicly threaten, or incite other people to commit murder, will I be able to apologize for it, or will I be hauled-off to jail? Answer the question yourself, and then come back and tell me that you support the rule of law.
"BTW, you also throw around that “treason” word without mentioning that George Bush’s Grandfather, Prescott Bush, was himself involved in a coup attempt in 1933, but him and the others that tried to overthrow our government were “appeased” - and now, the haters of freedom are at it again. Treason is attempting to overthrow the government of the United States. Do you remember that we used to have a system of checks and balances that were guaranteed by our constitution, and that every President pledges to uphold and protect in his Presidential oath??? What about that? Is George W. Bush and Dick Cheney above the law, or am I guilty of treason for suggesting that they abide by our constitution and rule of law?
"What about ignoring Congressional subpoenas? Doesn’t that effectively bypass Congress’s duty to provide oversight of the Executive Branch of the government? I’m sorry, but your post doesn’t make sense and it’s insulting to those of us who do abide by the law and attempt to shout-down the idiots that condone violence on either side of the isle, and while I’m not an active ” 911 Truther”, there are some questions that I’d like to see answered, and so far, all we have seen is stonewalling and silence, not what anyone would expect from a free and Democratic society!"

Enough is enough, and if we don’t petition the FCC and complain to the FBI, comments of this sort will continue to pump filth and hate into our airways, and no matter how you look at it, inciting violence is a crime, and hiding behind a microphone and claiming that you were “joking” doesn’t cut it, especially when Micheal Regan has a history of spewing hate and inciting anger and now violence under the guise of free speech.
