Soul becomes pure in the body,

Purer, we move inside love and stand next to Shams,

Our shoulders touching in the infinite house.

This Aries New Moon is a new dawn, the beginning of the moon cycle of the year. As Rumi so eloquently puts it, each day we rise, we have the possibility "to shine like grains in the light' -- to let our truth shine into our world.   In dark times, the world needs light.   It's time to shine.

The best way to do this is to "rise up to the stars'; the times call on us to let go of our old story and find a "big' mythic story to help us discover a new identity. (Uranus is now in Aries for the next seven years, awakening us to his archetypal starry realm where we can entertain different "identity' possibilities.)

This Aries new Moon is the time to plant those seeds of new beginnings, which originate in a new sense of identity. At new Moons, we are neither "wet nor dry' -- so we are still unformed.   We get to create a new form each new Moon.   The best way to connect to that new form is to tell ourselves a story about what we want it to be.

We are creatures of story.   Our unconscious mind speaks in imagery, and is constantly playing out stories which frame how we see the world.   If you want to change, you need to take charge of what stories you tell yourself.   And then you need to engage your imagination in those stories and let their symbolic wisdom guide you to a new sense of yourself.

In a changing world (Pluto in Capricorn is squaring this new Moon, challenging us to personally do something about the decay in our society) we need to find our security within ourselves and our sense of purpose.   This is when we begin -- in Aries we search for that sense of purpose by identifying what makes us passionate, interested, excited and assertive.   We might not know exactly what it is, but when we get there, and feel it, we'll know that's the One.   We'll sense the fit.
