I walked to the mic as Nathan made his way back to his seat, everyone still spellbound silent. As I grabbed the mic, I stopped because I was crying. Good tears. The kind that come from way down. Got a grip and said “Nathan, dude, thank you. That was off the hook”. The audience went nuts and Nathan had a smile that he invented all by himself. And we noticed.
It only took a minute thirty.
