"Tough Deary, you knew what you were getting yourself into."

So, here's where I stand: Until this country actually adopts that "important-enough" test, and until this country ceases treating our men and women in the combat ranks as callously as we do, I want the very same attitude taken concerning victims of domestic violence; "Tough, you volunteered."           

Any volunteers to take me on?
