The bedrocks of any economy are, simply put: agriculture, manufacturing (basic to high tech) and energy production.
Do you know why you don't see them in America any more? Because John McCain has OUTSOURCED THEM TO CENTRAL AMERICA, CHINA and INDIA. John McCain promises to continue to outsource these jobs when he becomes president.
Or see his website, which disguises the transfer of American jobs overseas under the type of rubric that only one of the r ichest senators in the US Congress could use: "I reject the false virtues of economic isolationism," McCain declares. This coming from a guy who rejects the virtues of staying married 'till death do us part.
We can't fix the problem in America by making the money markets look pretty for another 3, 4 or even 10 years. We can only fix America by fixing the bedrock of our economy.
The "crisis" has pushed Democrats like Chris Dodd to completely abandon his sheep suite and show himself for the protector of the elite class that he is: "I know," Dodd said, "that those who cast votes yesterday are having some second thoughts about the condition they placed us in and are trying to find a way in which to get back on track again."
Oh. So the House of Representatives placed us in this "condition?" Is that how it happened?
The Senate will pass this bailout and the House of Representatives will be forced to vote on it again. Call your representatives today and thank them for opposing this bailout if they did and warn them not to support it if they didn't! See the list of how they voted here.
Spare neither the Republican nor the Democrat in your scorn and reproach but yourself and your family from this mendacious money grab.
