The Mysterioius Celphone Calls.
There were many calls allegedly placed from cellular phones aboard Flight 93 before it crashed, Dr. Griffin reported. That's funny, he said, because calls from smaller planes were not possible from altitudes over 7000 or 8000 feet, Dr. Griffin said. On the larger, thick-walled aircraft do not allow cellphone calls from as high up, he said. The aircraft was not flying close to the ground.
(I did some research on my own on this question after the speaking engagement. I spoke with someone familiar with the airline industry. This person claimed that it is possible to place calls from cellphones from airplanes flying at high altitudes by piggy-backing off the airplane's radio signal. But Flight 93's transponder and radio were both turned off during the time that the cellphone calls were allegedly placed. There would have been no signal to piggy-back off. There was no way cellphone calls could have been place from the altitude at which the plane was flying.)
Lee Hamilton.
If Flight 93 was flying at 40,000 ft. plus when the calls were made, how is it that the calls went through as if the calls were placed at 10,000 ft? "The 9/11 Commissioner didn't even discuss this most fundamentally important issue. Hamilton simply stated that he didn't know," Dr. Griffin reported. "An empirical approach characterizes the entire Popular Mechanics book as an attempt by the Bush/Cheney administration to politicize and distort the facts," Dr. Griffin asserted. The FBI later retracted the claim that there were many cell phone calls places from passengers aboard Flight 93. They reduced the number of calls placed to two.
Flight 77 was a Boeing 757, which has seat-phones in the passenger seats of the planes. We do not know whether Flight 93 was a 757 because the airline has refused to divulge this information, Dr. Griffin said. And anyway, it was alleged that the calls had been placed from cellphones, not airphones. The official story cannot handle the truth about cellphones or Barbara Olsen's call, Dr. Griffin asserted.
Voice Morphing.
Voice morphing technology is something that has been available for quite some time, Dr. Griffin asserted. It makes it possible to replicate a person's voice and make that person appear to say whatever you want them to say. He said that the example that has been shown is having Colin Powell to say, "I'm being treated very well by my captors." Of course, this is silly, since Colin Powell was never held captive by "terrorists."
Caller ID's.
Caller ID's can be replicated, pointed out Dr. Griffin. This makes calls appear to originate from known caller cellphones when they in fact are originating from someplace else.
Ted Olsen's Phone Call.
"Whether Ted Olsen was a victim of this hoax or whether he lied is something we won't know until there is an investigation," Dr. Griffin said.
The Hijackings were Not Intercepted.
'Assuming the planes were hijacked,' Dr. Griffin said, 'the US military failed to intercept these flights. This is a very well-rehearsed procedure. F-15's and fly at 1500 mph. We have statements from FAA and US military officials saying "we can intercept any flight within 10 minutes." They can get their planes up and into the air to 20,000 feet in two and a half minutes. 24 minutes after the controller first noticed problems with the flight, the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center.'
Dr. Griffin cited the statements of two Air Traffic Controllers: that of Colin Scoggins and Robin Horton. "Scoggins called in at 8:29 --not 8:31, as the 9/11 Commission claimed. Horton said 8:20 AM. The military would have had over 29 minutes to make the interception. These tapes have been cherry-picked and doctored," Dr. Griffin asserted.
"Colonel Robert Marr claims to have had only four fighter jets under his command. Otis and Langley are the only bases that are designated as alert bases, but that does not mean these are the only bases that could have sent up fighters.
