The following voting record is extracted from the ACLU’s Congressional Scorecard. Here, one can look up the record of the entire Congress as a whole, or type in the name of a particular Congressperson after you have opened up the link to any particular bill (such as, for example, the FISA broadening bill called the Protect America Act). That way, you don’t have to search through the entire Congressional record to get to your Senator’s or Representative’s record.

To see record of the entire Congress’s scorecard based on the ratings of the ACLU, go to:

Governor Mitt Romney’s voting record can be seen here:

Nice work, Kathryn !

As a matter of fact, there are a fair number of sites out there dedicated to the voting records of US congressmen and senators - one which is detailed and fairly easy to use is that of the Washington Post :

http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/

I hope, in any event that more of your compatriots will use these sites - and handy lists of corporate sponsors and lobbying groups - to determine which, if any, of the remaining candidates for national office - not only for president but for representative or senator - to support. People can, of course, change their minds when a new situation arises - as Mr Edwards is said to have done with his vote «authorising» the illegal and unconstitutional attack by the Bush/Cheney administration on Iraq - but the best indicator of future actions remains previous ones....

I goofed!

Hello everybody

Goofy me....of all the Candidates, I have been toying with the question whether I support Mike Gravel or Ron Paul more, and whose name I will choose to write in on my ballet if I have to. And here I go, posting this record above, and I left them both out! How did I do that?

Folks, please know that this was an oversight and not intentional. Raspberry....LOL.

Henri thank you for your kind comments and for the link above. That is really good to know about. I appreciate the pitch-in of information to the Great Melting Pot which will help all of us! I will save it for future reference.

Have a great day everybody,

Kathryn
