Have We entered the End of Days? The Year 2007 in Review

At the end of every year Americans likes to look back in the mirror and reflect on the prior year and ponder to themselves as to what the year meant.  But that view is usually one of self reflection as opposed to as a nation.  Here I will do both.

As for me, 2007 was the worst year of my life and the best year of my life.  2007 cost me everything in this world that I ever truly loved and fractured my soul that still bleeds till this day, my daughter, my fiancée, my dogs and so much more.  But, 2007 also was a blessing for me as from these ashes came purpose, God’s purpose for me.

While this complete 15 year journey is now in a book I wrote to be released soon, I learned that there was a plan for me that started over 15 years ago to be an example of the evil that is destroying not only our individual lives, but society as a whole.  What I have endured and survived has given me the courage and strength to use the talents I have been blessed with and maybe with God’s help, change the course of destruction of families in America.

I have traveled the country and talked to many of today’s religious leaders and I hope they have seen the root causes of societal issues are directly related to the intentional destruction of families.  With their help, and the help of all Christians and other religions nationally, that dream may become a reality.

If I can only save one child’s life, keep one family together, prevent one other person from ever having to live though what I have lived through, then everything I have suffered and everything I have lost has meaning.

As for the nation, ok here we go!

2007 can best be described as the “Going out of office Sale”, as King George is raping and pillaging the nation prior to his triumph exit from office.  Wonder if he will empty the Whitehouse like Bill and Hillary did?  Wait, does that mean that if Hillary is elected she will return all of the things pilfered from the Whitehouse when her and Bill left?

2007 was the year when the death toll of our children in Iraq approached 4000.  Being that this war started on a lie, and America was three months away from starting another war with Iran on another lie, that congress has FAILED to enact the will of the people by getting out of Iraq when our allies have found a way and removed themselves, these actions should have sent the American people to the streets demanding our government resign and be replaced with public servants who actually want to serve the people.  SO America, when you reflect in the mirror about this, admit to yourself that you are a liar, a cheat, a thief and are only concerned for yourself because that is your persona projected to the world.

2007 was the year when we found out that the ghost of Adolph Hitler and Richard Nixon have been running amuck at Langley. The real reason that the CIA tapes were destroyed was that all CIA agents have learned how to goose step and could not figure out how to erase 18 minutes of their faces and marching.

2007 is when America learned that illegal does not really mean illegal as long as the only law you broke was coming into the country to pick fruit, clean houses or cut grass.

2007 is when trillions (3,000,000,000,000.00 to give you an idea of how big the number is) were spent to thwart terrorists who where coming out of the wood work like McCarthy communists. While terrorism is real, should we leave the front door to our home open while we go to the next community to fight crime there? (See above)

2007 is when a woman, Carol Gotbaum, was murdered by our government because she lost it in an airport.  Using clubs instead of compassion seems to be a staple of the American diet.  Guess it goes with the joke “How many bullets does it take to kill a man leaving a strip club?” Answer: 50.

2007 was another year when God was oppressed by our courts and government because it would not be politically correct to say God, Christmas, Blessed, etc, yet God is on our money, and last I heard, Christmas, THE BIRTH OF CHRIST, for those who don’t know anything beyond the shop til you drop mentality, was not canceled as would not celebrating Christmas also be politically incorrect?

I could go on and on but I would hope you are smart enough to see my points.

2007 should be the year that more than likely we have reached the end of God’s rope and grace.  Murdering people, lying, adultery because life is short, stealing because you feel justified, professing yourself as a Christian and acting like an ass, when EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is self centered, self absorbed and believes that “things” are salvation, you will find that when you invite God to see all you accomplished in life, at the end of days, is your massive home, your fat bank accounts and pictures of great parties with people who can’t even remember your name, God will tell you the truth of your life, something that most of us never want to admit or face.

He will tell you that your home was built without a spiritual and moral center that the money you worshiped was stolen by destroying other people’s lives and those great pictures taken at those great parties were your family.  That the path you followed was mans path and not his.

Many things are telling us...We won't see the truth!

Many things are pointing to the End of Days.

War, genocide, the intentional destruction of the family by courts, liars held as truth, everything good and moral removed from ohas a price, evenur society.  It all  if God does not come, we are on a path to do ourselves in.

FRAMERS MADE U.S. A SECULAR NATION TO AVOID RELIGIOUS WAR

Try to stop and think how you would feel if "in Allah we trust" was on our money and "under Allah" was in the pledge of alliegence.  The framers of the Constitution, aware of how much blood had been shed in Europe as the different religions fought for control of the state, made the United States a secular nation when they uncluded the provisions "Congress shall make no law regarding an establishment of religion" and "there shall be no religious test" for any office in the United States.  In other words, the document setting up the United States can be regarded as a mutual aggreement to believe and practice what you like but don't try to force it on other people.  You are free to try to persuade but not to use force.

In the Treaty With Tripoli in 1797, the U.S. in reply to Tripoli's concerns about how Muslims would be treated in the United States, included a provision that "The United States is in no sense founded on the Christian religion."

And as an Atheist I can assure you that religious people don't have a monopoly on altruism and concern for others.  In fact, since substituting faith for reason is like jumping out at random with no assurance about where you land, so that you can as easily land on Jim Jones or the Branch Davidians as on some relatively harmless religion, we are less likely to become part of some cult that impels us to participate in mass murder and religious crusades.

As Voltaire said, "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."

Your threats about the end of days have no more credibility than similar threats made for the last 2000 years.

There are no Atheists in fox holes.

Robert,

While I fully support your choice to beleive or not beleive in a God or any higher power, as freedom of choice is ALL about the United States of America, I can personally assure you of one thing...There is a God!

Humans can rationalize anything, for or against, but the truth is that nothing from nothing is still nothing, and if you beleive in creation or evolution, it still asks the same question, what started all of this?

I will still wish you a Merry Christmas AND a happy holiday!

THERE ARE ATHEISTS IN FOX HOLES

Yes, there are Atheists in fox holes.  I have personally heard two former combat veterans who are Atheists speak at Atheists groups that I am a member of.  There are polls showing the the percentage of Atheists in the population is increasing, that the increase is even more marked in younger people, and that many of the troops in Iraq list themselves as having no religion.  In fact, there was even an attempt to organize an Atheist group among the U.S. troops in Iraq.  But a deceitful Christian who was a superior officer pretended to be an Atheist who was interested in the group, and at the first meeting, revealed his true colors and held the other people present at attention while he threatened to discipline them.  Of course, the Superior officer violated the Constitution by misusing the power given him by the state as a military officer to attempt to force others to conform to his religion.

If only nothing can come from nothing, how did God get here, Whom I presume you believe to be something.  In fact, neither of us knows how the Universe got here, whether it came out of nothing or has always been here.  Postulating an even greater something than the universe does nothing to explain why there is something rather than nothing.

And I can assure you: There is no God.
