REALITY CHECK: Percent of Mormons Born Homosexual

Mormons are among the smallest numbers with 180 thousand to 1.08 million  Gays, Lesbians, Transvestites or Bi-sexuals. [See chart below]

The idea that 1/16th of any population has to live to the same sexual notions as 15/16th or face some form of retribution or denial is pure disregard for Creation itself.

Going into whole numbers, almost one million one hundred thousand Mormons have to subject themselves and their life styles to the will of the "Prophet" of the church.

In reality, it would be better for Gay-Lesbian members to break from the church and establish their own; such as the Gay-Lesbian Church of Jesus Christ Scientist of Latter-Day Saints and use the moniker "Gay Mormon(s)" It could become a religious refuge for all gay people!

From that vantage point they could resist propaganda or attempts to circumscribe their civil rights and freedoms by the abandoned church. This could of course split up families.But non-gay family members would be free to join up.

Rather than perpetuate religious dogma and myths of the mother church they should constantly evolve to and champion scientific truths. Priesthood should be held by any lay member without regard to sexual orientation for in reality, there is no proof that sex or sexual orientation even exists in the hereafter or did prior to earthly birth.

In making this break they should also insist on recovering 1/16^th part of the assets and investments of the mother church. After all, if the church leaders won't allow members to be "Free 2 Be', those members have a vested right to remove their proportionate wealth with them. They would automatically have a world-wide church membership of 1.1 million with a potential of 360 million! Replenishment could easily come from the 1/16th part of births of heterosexual Mormon couples.

From the following chart we can see that somewhere between 60 million and 360 millionof Earth inhabitants are Gay, Lesbian, Transvestite or Bi-sexual.
