The prison swap between Israel and Hamas began on Tuesday with the freeing of Sergeant First Class Gilad Shalit.
Israel is to begin freeing over 1,000 potential Palestinian Gandhi's that have been locked up for resisting the occupation of their homeland.

number of political prisoners was 5554 and 211 are children.
Gandhi pointed out three possible responses to oppression and injustice. The coward's way out, which is to accept the wrong and run away, or to stand and fight by force of arms, but the third and best way is to fight by speaking truth and remaining physically nonviolent.
