_Below is the message, or one like it, that I’d like all of us to send to our US representative and to our two senators. But first things, first. Click on the "Printer Friendly" at the top right of this page. You're not going to print anything, just need to be there in order to copy a short message easily.
_The URLs are
_House of Representatives: http://www.house.gov/
_When you get to the main page, near the top left is a box to insert your Zip-code. That will take you to your representative.
_US Senate: http://www.senate.gov/
_At the top right of the main page is a pull-down search menu. Pull it down to your state, then click your mouse on “Go”. Next, one at a time, click on each of the senators. Once at the respective representative/senator sites you may have to do a brief eye-scan to locate the “Contact me” section.
_After you’ve done that, with your mouse, scroll over the message below to, but not including the (Your name above), in order to highlight the passage. Hit Ctrl and the letter C. Now you’re ready to paste the message into the Representative’s/Senator’s email box.
_And as the message has been saved to your clipboard, you can very easily repeat the process for your other two targets.

Hi! Bet you didn’t expect to hear from me. I’m one of your constituents. First thing I have to say is, don’t bother checking my party affiliation. It just doesn’t matter any more.
_Here’s why: I just finished two chores — I just went grocery shopping and I put gas in my car. And I’ve got to tell you, “mad” doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. In fact, storming the Bastille rage doesn’t even come close. Neither does “thirsting for blood.”
_Are you following me so far? Good.
_So here’s the deal: I don’t want to hear any excuses; how it was all the other guy’s fault, and what have you. What I want you to do is take care of the problem you helped create. You see, I feel that even by not fixing it when you had the chance, to me is pretty much the same as creating it. Fix it . . . by November; this November. Don’t give me explanations or excuses or half-baked, canned promises . . . just fix it!
